M&D Mechanical continues to provide process piping and mechanical support services at the Bocar US plant in Huntsville, Alabama. The facility houses the production of lightweight aluminum, automotive structural, and power train parts. Bocar is advancing its operations, adding new die-cast, press, and machining equipment within the plant. Specific activities performed by M&D have included the installation of piping for compressed air, natural gas, and process water to new manufacturing equipment. Additionally, M&D installed a custom duct system that releases high-temperature exhaust from an expansive heat treat furnace and worked with Bocar to install a secondary air compressor package inside the facility.
