Hexcel Decatur produces carbon fiber in its raw form. Wound on spools and shipped to other Hexcel facilities all over the world, carbon fiber is then transformed into items like tape or woven into fabrics for aircraft, blades for wind energy, even tennis rackets. The Line I Project is the fourth carbon fiber manufacturing line that M&D has teamed with Fluor to construct and once again we were tasked with the plumbing and HVAC. Hexcel and Fluor have been valuable customers for over 10 years.
